Composite Fencing

What is Dual-Sided Composite Fencing?

Composite fencing is an eco-friendly alternative to wooden fencing.

Composite fencing is made by combining reclaimed wood fibers and plastic composites in order to create a long-lasting fence. BM Steel offers composite fence panels of three different colours, and because this type of fencing does not have the characteristics associated with natural wood fencing, such as cracking, warping, or expensive maintenance requirements, it does not have the same problems as natural wood fencing.

Furthermore, the composite fencing's versatility lends itself to various styles and settings, bringing about a new aesthetic appeal to your outdoor spaces. We offer a 20-year warranty on all of our composite fencing as a result of the characteristics of composite fencing that differ from lumber.

This patented design is extremely versatile and is ideally suited for retro-fitting between existing concrete fence posts, or for use as a fully composite fence system, depending on the application. It is therefore possible to upgrade your outdoor space in the simplest way possible.

Composite Fencing FAQs

Does composite fencing get extremely hot?

Your fence's material will influence how hot it gets, but the stain you choose will be the deciding factor.

When choosing the colour of your fence panels, remember that darker colours get significantly hotter than lighter ones.

If the composite fence is high-quality, such as ours, it shouldn't get much hotter than wood. However, inferior composite fences may get much hotter than some of the timber choices available.

Is composite fencing easy to clean?

A composite fence panel does not need to be maintained regularly, so it can be kept clean easily.

If you detect any mould, filth, or algae buildup on your fence panels, you can quickly remove it with a power washer without causing any harm to your fence.

A scrubbing brush with soft bristles and some elbow grease will do the trick if you don't have access to a power washer.

Does composite fencing expand and contract?

Considering that composite fences are made of wood-plastic composite materials, they will undoubtedly expand and contract in response to temperature changes.

During construction, you may need to allow more space based on how hot your location gets at its warmest.

Will my composite fencing fade?

In the first few months following installation, high-quality composite fences will fade and become a few shades lighter.

This is not a cause for concern, as the colour will quickly stabilise and will not fade significantly more over the course of its existence. However, if you have a lower-quality composite fence, it may continue to fade with time.

Is composite fencing easy to install?

Installing composite fencing can be quite straightforward if you plan your layout properly and have all the tools you need. Please see our Fencing Installation Guide for more information on the installation process.
