Prosiect Pum Mil (Five Thousand Pound Project)

BM's Bangor depot are back at it again with some serious CSR! (Corporate Social Responsibility). BM Steel are extremely proud to be a part of this project that celebrates the life of Josh Lloyd Roberts. We hope this tribute helps uphold his legacy for generations to come. So if you find yourself down Bontnewydd way, make sure you pay the ground a visit and maybe even catch a game.

Please see below the full story behind the stand and the involvement of BM Steel in the upcoming episode of Prosiect Pum Mil!

An update on a recent collaboration with the Welsh TV programme, Prosiect Pum Mil (Five Thousand Pound Project).

This TV show is focused on undertaking various community projects across local areas, all while adhering to a strict £5,000 budget.

Their most recent project was with a local football team, CPD Bontnewydd FC, who wanted to build a stand in memory of a former player, Josh Lloyd Roberts, who tragically passed away in an accident in 2023. The football club wanted to create a lasting tribute, and we worked closely with Prosiect Pum Mil to ensure the project was completed within the budget while honouring the player’s legacy.

BM Steel contributed to the project by providing the steelwork for the frame, the concrete mesh used in the groundworks, and the GRP floor sheets and nosings for the stand flooring.

The episode featuring this project is due to air on S4C in May 2025.
