Solid top grating offers a lightweight and durable solution for platforms, walkways, and a variety of industrial settings. Our moulded GRP panels are up to 50% lighter than steel and are available in a selection of thickness options to suit every need. Each panel offers a 3mm solid grip plate on its upper side and is finished in a hard-wearing anti-slip gritted surface for superior non-slip performance.
Our solid top grating panels are suited to general purpose use, especially in settings in which lightweight, anti-corrosive, non-conductive, and high strength properties are required. Solid top grating panels are also often installed in storage and loading areas, food processing facilities, walkways over vats and tanks, and solid flooring areas where narrow heels may pose a tripping hazard with traditional open mesh grating.
Manufactured from ISO FR Polyester Resin Class 2, BM Steel’s solid top grating provides a robust, level surface for foot and cart traffic, and provides around 50% more stiffness than open mesh grating does.
