Glass-Reinforced Polymer (GRP) is a Composite Material that is manufactured by reinforcing polymers such as epoxy, polyester, or vinyl with glass fibres. Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is also a Composite Material. However, it’s made by reinforcing polymers such as bismaleimides, epoxies, phenolics, polyimides, and vinyl esters with fibres such as Aramid (Kevlar 49), boron, carbon (AS4), carbon (IM-7), E-glass, graphite (P-100), quartz, S-glass, and Spectra 1000.
