In Memory Of Dean Ashton

Remembering Dean Ashton

Dean Ashton, a valued member of the steel industry and our BM Steel/Sections Direct family, passed away on September 25th after an 18-month battle with liver cancer. Dean’s career began in 1988, and he dedicated over 30 years to the industry, known for his knowledge, dedication, and sense of humor. Beyond his professional achievements, Dean was a beloved family man, leaving behind his wife, daughter, and granddaughter. Our thoughts are with his family, and in his memory, the company has donated £500 to Lindsey Lodge Hospice, where Dean spent his final days.

Dean’s family and colleague Mike Stothard are dedicated to raising awareness about the early signs of cancer. Accross the BM Group more & more resources are being made available to staff for helping address signs or symptoms of early cancer.
