Square ERW Tubes - FAQs

At BM Steel, you’ll find square ERW tubes with cross-sections varying in size from 1/2” x 1/2" x 16SWG to 100 x 100 x 2mm. These tubes are provided in a standard length of 6m (6,000mm). Please contact our team if you would like to place a custom order.

There are a few differences between square, rectangular, and round ERW tubes, starting with the shape of their profiles. Square ERW tubes’ profile has four sides of equal length, while the length of rectangular ERW tubes’ profile is greater than the width. Round ERW tubes have a circular profile. Square and rectangular tubes join easily and offer rigidity and stability, making them a good choice for architecture, construction, and manufacturing applications. Round ERW tubes arguably are the most common ERW tube shape and are ideal for various applications in different industries.
